There are actually two Ritz-Carltons in Naples — one on the Gulf at Vanderbilt Beach, one inland at the Tiburon golf club. Here's what each is really like, and how to choose between them.

First thing to know before you book: there are two Ritz-Carltons in Naples, and they are very different stays. One sits right on the Gulf at Vanderbilt Beach with sand at its feet. The other is a few miles inland at the Tiburon golf club, built around 36 holes and a waterpark-style pool. Same flag, same polish, two completely different trips, so the only wrong move is booking the one that doesn't match what you came for.

Both sit on the north side of town, a short drive from the shops of Old Naples and a world away from the budget end of our Where to Stay guide. They're a splurge either way. Below we break down each property honestly — the rooms, the food, the spa, the pools — and who should pick which.

This is a genuine eat-here-all-week resort. Tiburon is in the middle of a property-wide refresh — guest rooms, suites, the lobby, dining and a new 2,700-square-foot Swaying Palm event space — that began in 2026, with the redesigned spaces rolling out through the year. The resort stays open throughout, and amenities like the Reservoir waterpark and the golf courses keep running, but expect periodic construction noise and some areas offline. Because timing can shift, ask the resort exactly what's affected for your dates before booking.

Good to know: Rates at both properties run high, especially in the winter high season (roughly December through April), and a daily resort fee is typical — so check current pricing and exactly what the fee covers when you book. Want the beach without the golf? Choose Vanderbilt. Want golf or a waterpark pool? Choose Tiburon. Either way, confirm renovation timing and any closed amenities directly with the resort.
